" I live in County Donegal, Ireland, where I teach painting and create artwork in my own studio. The landscape around me and the people and animals in it inspire me to create work full of colour, texture, and expression. My favourite medium is oil, with pastel, charcoal, and watercolour as alternate media. My work is to be found in galleries around Ireland and it has found its way to many countries
abroad, including the U.K., America,
and South Africa. I accept several commissions per year and can work from any good quality, clear photograph."
"I have been drawing in charcoal and pastel from a very early age and progressed to painting in oils with private tuition in 1997. I have benefited from this education in the tradition of the College of Art and Design at the University of Ulster, Belfast provided by a graduate of their college. My own degree in environmental biology helps complete my understanding of the natural world and the animals in it which I love to observe and paint. I now devote all of my time
to teaching painting"
