Three Irish artists get together on this Month's exhibition Cois Fharraige.

Each has something unique to contribute to this theme By The Sea

Henry Morgan is best known for capturing the rugged land that meets the Sea on the Clare Coast. He is recognised nationwide for his work on the Burren in particular. The grays of Karst rock set against the richest of blue ocean gives this Limerick-based artist an ability to capture the peacefulness of life Cois Fharraige.

Roisin O Farrell joins us after a Summer of Solo exhibiting in Killarney Art Gallery. She is best known for the playful and light scenes of Wellies and Teacups. Among these will be unique seascapes that bring the warmth of a place called Home into a different subject.

Roisin is based in Dublin buts takes several trips a year to the West Coast for inspiration.

Peg Quinlan is a Cork-based artist who also spends time on the Clare Coast every year. She enjoyed learning from the impressionist style and is best known for her landscapes and floral designs. Her English Country Garden Series shows an excellent ability to convey the teeming life of a Summer garden.

Peg has exhibited widely throughout Ireland and has the distinction of lecturing at the National Gallery by invitation.

The show opens Saturday 30th July at the Gallery, Main Street, Lahinch (Kenny Woollen Mills)
