Matthew Keenan
is a
Dublin based artist. His work to date has included illustration and
media design. This is his first exhibition and he is delighted to be
showing his work in Kenny’s Gallery.
Matthew paints with
acrylic on canvas and this collection brings together an array of
well known sea, sky and landscapes local to Lahinch and the West
Coast of Clare. After spending a significant amount of time in this
region over the past few years, Matthew became interested in creating
work which reflected the scenic coastal landscape. He has paid
particular attention to the effect of the ever changing light on the
ocean and has focused on those times of day when this is at its most
dramatic.
