Barry Herniman was born in Middlesex in 1950. After a career in advertising in South Africa he returned to Britain in 1980 where he began a career in graphic art. He set up his own graphics company in 1988 and has written for many artistic magazines. Barry has taught Art courses all over the world. He has two books currently for sale “Painting Mood and Atmosphere in Watercolour”.

“For me Ireland has always been a magical place and each time I visit my emotions run high. In this land of mountains and rivers, loughs and rugged coastline you can never be quite sure what is in store for you. In my paintings I endeavour to capture the ever-changing moods and transient light effects of these amazing landscapes.”
